Well GAS has subsided. After doing some serious time listening to the Last Waltz as well as with my Penguin now that I have Zoom-Trons in it: I'm over 85% to that bridge tone. It's not quite as bright, but its close enough in a mix.
A Zoom-Tron is a humbucker that uses magnet poles (cylinders ala Fender) vs a bar magnets underneath.
Update: I was finding the tone of the bridge 'pickup' too dark, so I swapped the pots with 500k versions. Also installed a treble bleed. Better, but not quite the way I like it yet. But please understand - I typically play a telecaster :-0

I have used 500k pots with a parallel resistor on the switch when mixing humbuckers and single coils, to “show” the HB the full load and the SCs… less... Could such a confguration with 1megs and a 500-or-so-k resistor be an option? 1meg for the bridge HB alone, to brighten it up, knocked down for the others? I don’t remember if you said how you have the pickup selector wired, might take a super switch. Never tried it with 1megs, but it seems like it could produce some kind of results
I personally am not a fan of how they’re creased in the curves. I probably am wrong but I am curious what #1 looked like cause I didn’t see the creases in the video so wonder if it had the creases visible on the two remaining.
