Kudos to Warmoth

I, of course, like the necks and bodies.  But, I want to say I am really digging their service and prices on parts.  I have ordered several batches of electronics and knobs, etc., and they all have shipped within 24 hours.  If they updated their "standard shipping time" estimates to reflect this quick processing time, they might take some more of Stew-Mac's business, since I'm sure some people order their stuff from there just because it ships same day.

They should also get rid of the $25 minimum order, and maybe just tack on a $5 handling fee for small orders.

I second warmoth's customer support with regards to hardware and pickguards.  It's tough to think of a better spot to get your stuff.

BTW, WD Music has some interesting stuff, but comparing prices shows that it can be twice as much as even stu-mac.  Gets pricey after awhile.

I usually order small parts from Stewart McDonald or Guitar Parts Resource since they're both in my neck of the woods (it takes a while for things to get to me from Warmoth), but anytime I'm ordering a body and/or neck from Warmoth I'll order the hardware from them as well. Everything I've gotten from them was priced right and was excellent quality. I especially appreciate the fact that you can get a custom made pickguard from them for the same price as a mass production piece!

I used to have that problem until I started using the USPS instead of UPS. Takes about half the time. I know, it doesn't make any sense, but I suspect UPS has a bottleneck somewhere coming out of that part of the country. Nothing against UPS, I use them all the time with other vendors and they're great. But, from Warmoth, USPS usually saves me 3 days and it's the same price.
