As"The Claw" Neck didn't fit the SC-3 Body to my satisfaction...this project has been revived...

The Claw Mahogany One Piece Body Dual Humbucker Tobacco Burst Telecaster Custom:

- Kramer “Claw” Rosewood Neck w/Schallers & OFR R2 Nut
- Head Guitars Dual Humbucker 1 Piece Mahogany Tele Body finished in "Tobacco Burst"
- 1989 Gibson “The Original” HB-R/HB-L Humbuckers w/Gibson 500K Vol/Fender TBX Tone/3 Way LP Toggle
- OFR in Black

*** Pretty much a "soulmate" to the Fully Bound Lefty Maple Board Ash...

except in Mahogany w/a Claw Neck....

with another set of Chrome Gibson "The Original" HB-R/HB-L Humbuckers...

I've really got to stop trolling eBay when I'm bored...I find one item that's a deal or a steal or simply rare and normally priced...like the Claw...or the HB-R/HB-L Humbuckers...and I can't let them just sit...I've got to build something aound them! :banghead

The Matched Set of 1989 Gibson "The Original" HB-R/HB-L Humbuckers arrived and they are super clean and even include original clips/screws/springs. $60.00 for the pair BIN w/free shipping...and the seller express shipped them! WOW!

Got tracking info on the Head Guitars One Piece Mahogany Dual HB Tele Body and should have it by mid week to give to my friend who is going to finish it for me...thankfully, I've seen his work on a Blue Burst Strat that he did previously and it came out really nice.

Claw Neck should be off the SC-3 Body (in favor of the E.E. Pro I for good) and back in my hands next week as well.

Alrighty...got the E.E. SC-3 back together and I've got the Claw Neck, Gibson HB-R/HB-L Humbuckers and body - One Beautiful Piece of Mahogany. It's out to be finished in a Nitrocellulose Tobacco Burst (Amber Center w/Brown to Black Edges).

Picked up an '86 OFR...

only need a Gibson 500K Vol/Fender TBX Tone/Gibson 3 Way Selector Switch and that'll be everything.

No timeframe on completion, as a friend is doing the finish, but I'm hoping for it being done in the next month.
