Found this site:

http://www.potentiometers.com/select_knobs.cfm?tab=milspec

They sell commercial grade pots & knobs and such.  Some of them may be pretty cool to throw on a guitar.

Side note, I'm curious as to why there aren't stickies with lists of links for hardware providers on this forum.  Would be great to have one stop shopping when deciding on stuff.  I'm thinking having a thread for knob links, pot links, inlay links and such.  Maybe not for stuff like bridges where there are only a select few...

I also found some cool knobs on etsy - some nice wood ones with etchings and the like at reasonable prices.

I'll toss a second on to this one. There really should be a sticky somewhere that has links to killer sites that carry all kinds of parts etc...

Think that list would be HUGE .....

Plus I have found many places that won't ship to me in Australia.
WTF are we down here on another planet or something.  :icon_scratch:
Well I did find some Knobs I liked the other day, something like $14 for the knobs + $89 shipping costs.  :o

Anyway I use Mr Google

Forget about stickies happening here.
I did one on how to post pic's on any forum, Which I thought would be a good sticky for newbies & those that didn't know.

But still, I have to travel to the moon   to see some pic's people post.

Also seen many posts from others here, that would make good / excellent stickies too.
From filing fret ends to wiring etc etc etc.
Suppose thats why there is a search area.  :dontknow:

You could make a new thread on suppliers etc, But .... a warning, it'll more than likely get highjacked anyway.    :cool01:
Don't forget this is a Warmoth forum.
Why would they have a sticky for other suppliers.

Perzactly!

And with hijacking, which we are notorious for, things do get answered and generally not hijacked right off the bat.  When a thread gets hijacked 3 pages in and the OP's initial query has otherwise been satisfied, who cares.

Ah - thought you knew. But you're on the other side of the planet.  Upside down. :icon_jokercolor:

It's true. Honestly I think it's just much more cost effective to say you won't ship to Australia than it is to keep replacing your barges and ships when they drop off the Earth down there under that equator thingy.
