Kahler flat mount: how to block for full unstring?

Hi there,

Does anyone have any tips as to how to block a Kahler flat mount into it's strung position?
I'm going to try removing the locking nut and installing locking tuners and I think it's going to be
easier to restring and get back in tune if it's locked into resting position.

The only thought I'm coming up with is putting a piece of 2x4 wrapped in a hand towel between the arm and the body between the tail piece and the butt end, or maybe a stack of paperback novels or something like that.

That would be great if it did but no, mine is probably older than that one and doesn't have the locking screw in the back end.

EDIT:
I figured it out. ... a small block of wood with a thin piece of clean cloth under it.

Edit again:
I ended up using a DAT cassette case and a piece of paper. It was the perfect size.
