Just finished - Warmoth Tele body with MIM Neck

Thanks! That helps me feel good 'bout my pickup choice for this next one of mine. -Enjoy your New-Neck-Day!  :occasion14:

No problem!

I know some blade style pickup poles are reputed to be a bit 'ice picky' but I've used mine quite happily - without tone pots or any filters / caps!

Neck has arrived... and it's FREAKING GORGEOUS!  :icon_thumright:

Will snap a photo in a few mins and upload.

Mmmmmmmm roasty!

Warmoth Pro, warhead, quarter-sawn roasted maple, fatback, 6100 stainless steel frets x 21, Tele heel, no inlay, black side dots, Schaller tuning holes, 1' 3/4" nut with Tuqs Earvana XL.

Only another 2 weeks to go before my 3rd Warmoth is due to go to my local guitar repair / tech guy [and Unoffical Warmoth member] Phil for some of his fine fret fettling and a setup onto the flamed maple Tele body shown in this thread... Can. Not. Wait.  :icon_biggrin:

The SS jumbo fretted satin Fender neck is now on my Fender MIM Cabronita, having replaced the glossy original one.

Will update progress when it happens!

Status Update: Guitar is with Phil for fret fettling, tuner fitting [I don’t have the pin hole guide to do an accurate job] and install the neck, then do a setup to ensure it’s all spot on.  :headbang:

Can’t wait to get it back to try it out…

Phil’s also sorting another guitar of mine with proper Bare Knuckle pots and caps to replace a certain ‘on/off’ like pot sweep issue that the factory circuit board mounted parts have…  :icon_thumright:

And here it is! Fresh back from a fettling by forumite 'Funky Phil', my awesome 'go to' guy!

Hey DangerousR6,

Thanks for the comment.  :icon_thumright:

Out of interest, what is is you don't like? I'm assuming it's the unconventional neck plates as oposed to the standard style?

Or is it because it's on it's back with the pretty side hidden?  :icon_biggrin:

Doug's mad bc he can't etch those little plates!  :icon_biggrin:

Ha ha!

Well it seems Icon Plates have disappeared now, so I have to plan an alternative for my next build... A custom plate with an engraving, may well fit the bill.

I know who to come to!  :icon_thumright:
