So jeez. Picked up an older Peavey Delta Blues 115, replaced all the tubes and dang. My strat with Roadhouse 65s through this amp is freaking perfect. I can't get over it.  So, back to what you were doing. I have to play now

Yes. One of those rare purchases that feels like a huge bargain. I got a recommendation from a peavey forum on preamp tubes and they made a great difference.  This amp covers a lot of ground and Kens pickup set really shines

I get more excited about amps than guitars. I mean, think about it. You can only play one guitar at a time. Two if you're Stanley Jordan. But you can play ALL your amps at the same time.

I do that!

I run my preamp into two or three amps at a time... Get a totally different sound out of each cab, mic and mix accordingly. Such fun!

Great, like I need one more idea to mess around with…

Not meaning to boast (but I will). If I had a device like a Radial JD7 I could run 3 amp systems at once and create havoc! Would probably crash my PC if I tried to track that much audio, but just 10 seconds of that mayhem would be  :o ....

Back OT though, some of Peavey's amps are darned sleepers arent they?  :icon_thumright: An old Bandit back in the day was great for quick practicing in a small room and plenty bass players got through their first lot of gigs with Peavey bass gear.
