Joe Perry's Warmoth

I think they call him a 'Dandy', young fellowmelad

And you have got to stop saying Slag, it's not nice.  Say 'Slapper' instead, much nicer.  :occasion14:

You know...Russell Brand was funny at first and I gave it a chance...but his only thing is sexual jokes, barbs, quips, etc. After a while, it got annoying.

He's a British comedian, famous for drug use, womanising, and a penchant for long words (like 'penchant'  :icon_tongue:).  He can be quite funny, but it gets irritating quite quickly.  He had a radio show on the BBC here for a while, but he was booted out for calling up an aging actor (Manuel, from Fawlty Towers) live on the radio and then announicing that he had done lots of terribly rude things to his granddaughter.

DId you ever see the movie "Forgetting Sarah Marshall"? He was the 'rocker' in that.

Oh okay.  I was thinking he was another huge celebrity that I've never heard of.  My students tell me about these stars all the time and I have no idea who they're talking about.  I guess that goes hand in hand with only watching NatGeo, Discovery, and The History Channel.  Oh, and the occasional South Park.

Probably would have gotten to see him play it live, but Tyler just HAD to get injured...  :-\

Looks good though.

The silver lining of that is ZZ Top playing a kick ass show last night at the 9:30 club in D.C.!!
Billy's no slouch.

They (Top) seem to be doing a few sort of spontaneous shows in small venues.
If you get a chance, it's worth seeing.

I heard about them continuing their own tour, and was pretty excited (they were the number one reason I was wanting to see the show LOL)

But sadly they are not stopping remotely near Kansas City.... :sad1:
