That was a really specific vision of the old west as owned by a Native American.  Maybe I missed it, but is anyone else disappointed they didn't give Warmoth props for the neck and body?

Gregg, when these Gold MOTO will be avaiable to orders? :P

If you mean the gold pearloid Trapezoids, you can get it now if you talk with a Warmoth rep about your order. There is a limited supply though so someday it'll be gone.

Not worried about getting props for the neck and body. Warmoth sells to alot of builders who do not disclose that they use our parts, and that is OK by us. We just appreciate the business whatever their preference.

Anybody sees that neck is going to know where it came from, if they know Warmoth....

That neck kicks ass, classic Warmoth.

The body is ugly, but I think that's intentional.  :party07:

I really like that look!
didn't he already have some kind of reversed tele/strat hybrid?

Gregg, I remember that a couple of years, on the old forum, you announced that there would be some new 'big' endorsers soon.. is this the one?

most of the time it is quite obvious, like this one I came across last night.
http://www.jlsguitars.com/  ("home of the chambered semi-hollowbody" ??  :tard: :sad1:)
HOWEVER!! if you are going to copy and paste (at least) 7 pictures from the Warmoth Website, I think you should give Warmoth some credit too...
(see the "products" page)

* just saw this: he has a pic of the insides of a chambered VIP, and calls it the "JLS "Chambered" Body design"

There were a few stars all a once that I was talking with back then; Jimmy Herring, Les Dudek, Joe Perry among others. A few gave permission to use them on our website. Joe Perry went on a big tour so we never really heard back from him. That picture just showed up in some magazine so I thought it would be fun to show here. Ken has had dealings with guys like Eddie Van Halen and Stevie Ray Vaughn in years past. We get brushes with these mega-stars pretty regularly so I try and lasso them for a picture and blurb if they are so inclined.

Next time you guys, er... brush with him... tell SRV it's time for a new album.  Decomposition is no excuse.

i was just about to say, they don't even have a picture of a chambered strat, but i saw you noticed that too. you'd think there would be some sort of copyright or something on warmoth stock pictures  :icon_scratch:  you know if fender felt like making it a big deal the pictures would have been down immediately.

Yeah, especially because every guitar that guy sells = a guitar Warmoth sells.  In fact, you should give him more pics at higher resolution!  :P

Well...it sounded pretty good just a few minutes ago when he and Katy Perry opened up the MTV Video Awards Show! Rocked out some Queen!  :headbang1:

Damn.  It's not letting me view that vid in the UK.
I'll trawl around and see if I can grab it from another site.

That was cool!  ...except for Katy Perry's (intentional?) not hitting all of the notes right on.  But the guitar was cool!  Warmoth on tv!

Who is Russell Brand?

My first response...an annoying Brit Twit...but one of my kids knew him from some movie that was popular over the last year or so. IMHO...he was nothing more than a bad immitation of a Naughty Capt'n Jack Sparrow.

Muttz is pretty much bang on!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell_Brand

He's a British comedian, famous for drug use, womanising, and a penchant for long words (like 'penchant'  :icon_tongue:).  He can be quite funny, but it gets irritating quite quickly.  He had a radio show on the BBC here for a while, but he was booted out for calling up an aging actor (Manuel, from Fawlty Towers) live on the radio and then announicing that he had done lots of terribly rude things to his granddaughter.

DId you ever see the movie "Forgetting Sarah Marshall"? He was the 'rocker' in that.

Probably would have gotten to see him play it live, but Tyler just HAD to get injured...  :-\

Looks good though.

He's a proper victorian slag!
