Jazzcaster - How to wire as Tele Custom

Hey guys,
I'm having Warmoth build a Jazzcaster w/ Tele Custom pickup configuration (Wide Range HB neck, single-coil bridge), with standard tele layout with only 1 volume and 1 tone, and 3-way pickup selector. I'm new to soldering, can anyone tell me the specs of how to wire this so it's only 1 volume and 1 tone? should the pots be 250k or 500k? I know ideally I would like to have the HB 500k and the single coil 250k, would I use a resistor (250k or 500k)? Is there where things like concentric pots come into play? Sorry for the noob questions, I'm not very well versed in the electronics side of the project.

Any diagrams would be very helpful.
thanks so much!

This is a standard Tele wiring diagram.

Don't worry that it shows two single coils. The hot/ground from a humbucker is the same as the hot/ground from a single coil. Depending on the humbucker you use, you just may have to connect two coils together. The installation sheet for the pickup should tell you which wires are which. If not, there are a lotta resources online.

If it was me, I'd use 500K pots. They don't load the pickups down as much. Also, I like to install treble bleed caps, as described here. I use the simple version, shown as "B" in the diagrams.
