I was going for a EVH/SRV. I have recently removed the black Fender SCN pups and am in the process of installing white SD rails and changing to white knobs.
Swamp Ash body, Warmoth Pro bird's eye neck/fret board, LSR roller nut/Sperzel tuners, Wilkenson VS100 convertible bridge.

Fender pups to SD rails... how come? Cause I'm doing the opposite, going from rails to RG Tallboys.

I'm curious to see how the white conversion will look... keep'em coming!

I thought I would be happy with a close to strat sound, but I guess I like pinch harmonics too much!
I have always played humbucker guitars (SG,RG540/570/520) and I wanted to try a strat.
I like the guitar, but I never seem too be happy with the tone. I really like the hot rail so far.

Awesome guitar. Are you putting rails in the nick position too? I'm curious about how they sound compared to a full sized humbucker and a real single coil.
