Anyone else into Internet Radio? If so, please list some favorite websites.  :glasses10:

--I've just discovered Pandora.com where you can literally create your own stations to listen to...and I assume others can listen in also, though I'm still new at Pandora so don't quote me on it.
--Other fave sites include:  Reciva.com where one can listen to Radio stations all over the world covering a huge variety of musical genres. :glasses10:
For talk radio I'll listen to TalkRadioTime.com where you can liten to talk radio broadcast from anywhere in the country. :glasses10:

Ok, now lets hear yours.

I generally avoid those places. they never show me anything new. and all the "CHECK THIS OUT" bands they show me. I heard of 2 years ago and have long since memorized all their songs, and moved on.

I have too much music. this i know.

Pandora is amazing! I've discovered a ton of new music with it, your stations are YOUR stations as far as I know, unless you choose to share them...I think.

Nothing but Grooveshark for me!!!
I used playlist.com before too, but it was down a lot..

Pandora is great, but you can't choose your music, and you have to pay $1 to keep listening once you go past the 40 hour per month listening limit. (Usually took me about 20 days to use up.)

Marko got me hooked on Grooveshark. :headbang:

Yea, that entire $1 fee kills me every time.  All you have to do is sign up under a different email address.  I have three Pandora accounts that I rotate as one runs out.
I like Pandora because sometimes I just don't want to jack around with making a bunch of special selections.

I just logged on to the Grooveshark.  That is great to be able to select particular songs that you want to hear.  Will it select songs for you randomly if you want?  Sometimes I am just too lazy...
:rock-on:

last.fm (like pandora but Much better)
chicagohousefm.com - obviously Chicago House music 24/7
bassdrive.com - Drum & Bass 24/7

Meh, that's dishonest to me.

That's a good idea!  :icon_biggrin:

I stream in Xm Radio at work and it is the greatest.  A ton of channels to listen to, nearly all commercial free, and a huge variety to listen to.

Yea, I listen to Sirius at work sometimes.  They do have a lot of great music of all different types.
However, I always end up listing to Howard and getting nothing done, so I tend to not turn it on anymore...

I have XM in the cars and its alright I guess. Never listened to it online. I have Slacker Radio on my BlackBerry and I love it. On trips I end up connecting my phone through the stereo instead of using the satellite stuff.

I've used radiolocator.com to find some pretty kick-ass radio stations. The best one I've found is Q107 in Toronto. They play a lot of phenomenal stuff, the Canadian government doesn't censor a lot of stuff, plus Kim Mitchell is the afternoon DJ and really does a great job.

The very same!  He's on from 2 to 7 Eastern. Lot of great stories, and the stuff he pulls out of the bin is out of this world. My only complaint is that Q107 uses a java-based online stream player, and I'm more of a fan of running an address through Winamp to mix it better to my stereo, but its a small price to pay.
