Indentifying badges.

Can anyone tell me what these badges are? Someone I know thinks they are Portuguese Communist Party badges, but I've looked at information about that party and cannot find any similar sybolism. Any input if appreciated.

The second appears to be from the Tennis Playing people's republic of Somewherevia. In all honesty, something tells me the top one is a badge for Soviet officers who served in Spain during their civil war.

The top one is from Soviet-era Bulgaria.  The letters are Cyrillic, transliterated to BSSR - Bulgarska Sovietska Sotsialisticheska Respbulika,  or Bulgarian Soviet Socialist Republic.  The second, given the star on a spire, seems likely to be from some communist tennis federation.
