here is the wiring, similar to the Tom Anderson Cobra wiring.

pos 1: Bridge full 500K
pos 2: bridge split north coil 250k
pos 3: neck and bridge 500k
pos 3 pull pot: neck pickup south, bridge pickup north 250k
pos 4: neck picup south coil 250k 250k
pos 5L neck pickup full 500k

It looks nice; you should be proud.  Does it work too?  You're like a wizard compared to me.
 
Brilliant! Did you check to see if those cap values are the ones you prefer, or just go by tradition? Great stuff either way.  :icon_thumright:
 
How'd you drop the pot value down to 250k? I want to do that but without adding further pots. Is that what the resistor there does? Can you just run one in series from the switch to the pot?

this is another way to do it, although i show it with a typical ssh arrangement. i use the tone pot as the 500k resistor, it alters the range of the tone control in single coil mode though, at 10 the tone cap is shorted so it is like a no load tone pot with a 250k volume.
