Long ago Kansas City signed a deal with the devil where we gave up road quality and serious sports teams in exchange for great live music and barbecue, and we haven't looked back.
I have an SWR 80W 1x10'' combo that I use as a monitor. True, it's a bit underpowered for the job but honestly I don't see the point in investing in a huge rig when - as stated - there's a PA in basically every bar that does anything with live music.
