None more black
Well, you certainly got me there! Don't think that would ever have occurred to me. Thanks. :sign13:TBurst Std said:None more black
Only seen bits and pieces. Now I have to watch the whole thing! :icon_jokercolor:Cagey said:Right. Everything but the strings and frets are black. Comes from the mockumentary "Spinal Tap". Cult flick for musicians that if you haven't seen, you need to.
Don't give me any ideas...swarfrat said:And if you play bass, even your strings can be black! Waiting on Warmoth to do a BK6101 fret wire so I can do a satin black body, jet black ebony neck, black hardware, Seymour Duncan Blackouts, D'Addario tapewound strings, and top it off with black frets.
(Kidding, I wouldn't throw it in the trash if someone gave it to me, but it's not on my list of somedayIwanna)

The neck is the actual neck I bought, but it's really a lot darker than the showcase photo I used for the composit.

Actually, yeah. Long time ago. In fact, I can remember going to a Peter Frampton concert during the "Frampton Comes Alive" tour 100 years ago and being surprised to see him with a three pickup Les Paul. I remember thinking it was a bit ostentatious for a pro. It was also that long ago that I learned about not installing 23 switches and knobs on a guitar, due to their ultimate uselessness in real life.
Me too! You certainly ain't alone in that regard! :icon_jokercolor:swarfrat said:Yeah, that's why I obsess about making nice pretty guitars... compensating
Knobs, definitely. I like knobs! :toothy10:Rgand said:Knobs, then?
