If anyone could help out a bit.

Not bullets. I did shotshells for some years when I was big on trap, skeet and sporting clays. Had a fully automated reloader and had great results. When I moved back to the city, I got out of it because it was too much trouble to get to a range where I could play. I miss it.

I have no interest in guns whatsoever, and have never understood the attraction.  However, I do own a Japanese rifle that my Grandpa took off a dead Japanese soldier in WWII.  I guess you could get away with taking home war trophies back in those days.

Yeah, I'd love a Kimber. Downside is, if you ever have to use it, chances are good it's going to be seized for at least a while during investigations and whatnot and it's not unheard of for them to end up in limbo for very long periods of time up to and including forever. If you're going to have a weapon collected, better that it's not a really high-end unit.

Yea, definitely. I carry a Glock, and custom build my own 1911s for range and competition shooting. Glock is cheap and easy enough to replace if need be.
