along with all the hardware (anything that shows in black) to make myself a guitar. The wait for the parts will be a month or so, o account of the neck finish on the maple. I can't wait! I think this is going to be a good one.

Thanks Cagey, I'm perhaps most looking forward to hearing those Bartolinis in the guitar. I had Bart. Soapbars in a Novax Expression solid body I used to own and they were fantastic sounding pickups. I'm hoping for similar performance from these.

I'd be most anxious about the pickups as well. They're the most influential part of your tone.

Well, I got a great deal on the Bartolinis - I paid just a little bit more than I would have for a set of "garden variety" Seymour single coils. And I figure if I don't like them, pickups are easy enough to switch out. Here is a YouTube demo of them I thought was interesting:

I like the look, a classic with a twist using the warhead. I am really liking that headstock. I have never seen those pickups. They look interesting and ascetically look great. Hopefully they sound as good as they look!

According to UPS the parts from Warmoth will be here Monday the 28th. Hopefully the Bartolinis will arrive by then as well.

Well I had a set in a 78 Ric bass, and they were thunderous....
So I can imagine there 6 string stuff is pretty top notch as well....
