I'm fed up with trying to find these damn pots close to home, so while I wait for them to come in the mail, i'll just wire my SD JB straight to the jack. but I don't know what colours I solder to the different parts of the jack. I'm using a deep panel jack.  :help:

As far as I know you can't do it, you'll need a pot or a capacitor wired between the pickup and the jack... but I now nothing about electronic

Well, my understanding is null. All i know is whats the parts are and what they do, not how they work and to make them work off the top of my head. I wish I really did know that though. :-\

There is absolutly nothing wrong with going straight to the jack...
Its just going to be very bright sounding.

Assuming that you want series humbucker wiring:

White and Red wires together.
Green and bare wires to the sleeve of the jack.
Black wire to tip of the jack.

What about the bridge ground?

And whats a series?

Bridge ground also goes to the sleeve of the jack.
Any other grounds will also go to the sleeve.

A humbucker is comprised of 2 single coils, which can either be wired in series or in parallel to each other.
The "standard" way is in series.
