Hughes & Kettner Tubemiester 18 any thoughts?

I am considering getting a hughes and Kettner  Tubemiester 18. Do any of you have an experiance with it or have heard it in person? i like the fact it's got 3 channels and a build in power soak from 18 to 5 to 1 watt to 0 for the red box recording. but have only seen it on you tube and we all know how those videos are. Any idea or thoughts would be appreciated.

I have heard good things about those amps.  I would play one 1st.  The gain is not to everyone taste.  I found it is be very clean and punchy litttle amp.  Price it right too.

the problem i have is i can't play one first none of the music shop around here carry them.

They've turned into a free rental place. Half the stock in the joint is somewhat used. I'm surprised the strings don't come with kinks in them. It's no wonder they haven't made money in five years. They're just there to test gear. When you want to actually buy it, you go somewhere online with a lower price and get a new unit in a sealed box with no sales tax.
