How's this for service?

Couple quick comments regarding shipping:

- UPS is picks up daily, oftentimes more than once a day.  Once it is in their system, it is out of our control.  By default, UPS ground is used.  If you need it shipped faster, expedited shipping (via UPS) can be used at extra cost to the customer.  Expedited shipping does NOT mean it will get processed internally any faster.  USPS is an alternative and can arrive faster for some parts of the country.

- The vast majority of orders are direct to the consumer.  Standard manufacturing scheduling procedures (ie. batching) are used to process orders as quickly and with as high quality as possible.  There are times orders can hit the cycling just right and shoot through the process very quickly.  There is NO guarantee that will happen though.  Our production estimates are best estimates based on historical averages and current production demands.  Most orders will fall in to the estimates timeline.

what are the "historically times of year" that orders are fastest, I guess that means you are slowest? Does it follow the regular retail schedule of mid Jan thru Feb and another slow time around August?

There really isn't much of a slow time these days.  Jan-Feb is one of the craziest times as everyone is spending their Christmas money.  If there's any lull, it is during the summer months when everyone goes on holiday.  It's a little different than retail since there's a production lead time which results in a bit of a phase shift in availability similar to other manufactured items.

Oh, boy! Fairgrounds! I'm packing my stuff tonight! LOL! Get serious. Fairgrounds are as common as dirt. What about tittybars? <grin>

These fairgrounds are huge, and nothing like what you're thinking of.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puyallup_Fair

Plus, check out Camp Harmony for creepy historical fun.

Yeah, that's a pretty good size, at 160 acres, which is about as big as the one here, at 164. Ours was never an interment camp, though <grin>

I don't know what they have at the fairgrounds here. I do my best to stay away from that area altogether.

Here's it's gun and craft shows, plus all sorts of nutty little events... which I'm cool with.  It's the 2.5 weeks a year where every idiot who can't follow a street sign and feels like it's his/her FSM-given right to block an intersection comes into my town and makes getting to and from work an exercise in anger management.  I haven't actually gone to the fair in years, and probably won't until both kids are walking.
