Hipshot Trem-Setter or The Tremol-No?

I believe TonyFS recommends the $65 tremol-no . I have purchased one and have not yet installed it . I purchased the Schaller 399 tremstop for $30 and it did'nt set/fit right .The tremol-no is going to be my 2nd try .

What did you decide on? Is this for the Strat project mentioned in another thread?

Yes maybe,do not know yet. Just trying to see what people options are and what they liked and disliked.
Tony if you know where the link is can you please post it.

D-tuna works suprisinly REALLY well. Tried it out on my buddy's Floyd guitar.

Tremel-no works great too.  In fixed bridge mode, it's 100% FIXED, which is great.

I've personally installed a Hipshot Tremsetter on my most recent project which had a recessed Floyd. If I ever build another guitar with a Floyd or other Trem, I'm installing a Tremsetter. I've had nothing but good experiences with it. People say "I don't like Floyd Rose bridges because they're finnicky", but the Tremsetter eliminated any of those problems. Of course, I still wanted to wail on the Floyd, but if you're wanting to completely 'halt' your Floyd, then perhaps try the Tremel-No. You can see in the second picture the Tremsetter in the spring cavity. Hopefully my input helps! Good luck!
