Congrats on the Mesa! I have an ENGL Thunder 50 and a Zevex Nano, I wouldn't part with either one of them and damn, that little Zevex pumped into a 4X12 is nothing short of scary! :rock-on:
Well, I have finished stage one of my 5 watt amp. I think someone did the math and found that with the EL34 it is an 8 watt amp. Next up is the process of minimizing the hum, and of course that squeal when you dime the volume. If anyone wants to see the process, I took pictures. Have fun if you go through them.
The last thing is, it is pretty darn loud. It was making the 4 by 12 cabinet pump out some noise. I can't wait to get it to sound better, then "monsterizing" modifications can take place.
