Actually, I don't even know what you do for money, if my career as a gigolo had taken a different twist I mi... well any, this:

$1,649.00 for a Telecaster body with wallpaper glued on and sprayed with goo n' stuff, of course there's no indication what he's ever sold any of them for... I still get the feeling, just looking at what some of the people here have done for mere fun, and looking at the prices that the Great Unwashed are still paying for, essentially, goo-sprayed boards... you'd think that at some point, all the lawyers and doctors paying big bucks for beat-up "old" Fenders and Gibsons that everyone involve knows are fake, you'd think they might want something that actually looks good.

Actually, I like the photos - it's helpful since I plan on doing a fancy-paper-with-burst-edge body somewhere along the line.  But 1700 bux?  Cheez'n'rice, that's some good stuff he's smokin'.

Also, there's a couple Japanese reissue paisley strats and a 50's P-bass at Guitar Showcase in San Jose for under a grand apiece.  My bet would be that fit'n'finish are gonna be equal or superior to what this guy's up to.

It also looks like the fabric they use isn't right or something. On their close up shots you can tell how rough the fabric is. I've never been able to see that on other paisleys.
