Here we go again...

i'll try to explain it for you. if you have questions pm me.

1.) wire everything from the pickups to the back of the push/pull pots exactly as shown, forget everything from there on.

2.) take the black wires that normally go to the switch in the diagram and hook each of them to a separate volume pot. if you look at the pots as it is drawn in the diagram (shaft facing away from you and lugs facing down) you would solder to the lug on the left for traditional gibson style, or for an alternate style solder to the lug in the center if you want to be able to turn down one pickup without reducing the volume of the other.

3.) run the output from each pot (the center lug with gibson style wiring, left lug for alternate style) to the outer plates of the switch assuming you are useing a gibson style switch. the two inner plates that get soldered together get hooked to the tone and the output jack.

there is nothing to be embarrassed about, so you have a thing or two to learn about electronics, who doesn't?
