Hendrix "Woodstock" build

I started a new guitar build inspired by Jimi Hendrix' "woodstock" strat.  The original was a '68 in olympic white with a white pickguard.  I elected to use a mint green pickguard to give that aged look.
The pickups are Fender Custom Shop '69s with a Jensen PIO .047uf capacitor with a blender pot mod.  The original came with a 3-way switch  - I elected the 5-way as it's much more versatile.  The bridge is a Fender vintage style with stamped saddles.

I anxiously await my Warmoth neck which will be finished with vintage tint and correct period logo.  Here are some pics in a slide show.

That's probably better than a Hendrix Monterey strat. You'd have to complete it by setting fire to it and smashing it to bits.

What's up with your shielding work?
It looks like you only shielded on the bottom of the cavities rather than the entire area?

Just got the warmoth neck in the mail.  It's better than I imagined.  The neck will be finished in the next couple of weeks and then I will have some final pics.  Also, I ordered "F" neckplate with the original serial number.  I can't wait to see how this turns out with the neck finished.  I think I am going to go back to white on the PG and BP as well as knobs, etc.. Stay tuned.

As far as the shielding, I ran out and had to order more.  I will upload more pics when it comes in and the shielding is done.
