Sorry to be a bummer here, but there are a couple of things to consider:

1. I'm not sure that the Charvel neck pocket on the San Dimas is the same size as the Fender-sized neck heel on the Warmoth neck. I think I've read that there's a 1/8" or 1/16" difference between the two with the Warmoth neck heel coming in at 2 3/16".

The dimensions of the neck heel size here: https://www.warmoth.com/Guitar/Necks/faq2.aspx

Here's an interesting spec sheet for the So Cal, which I think is similar to the Pro-Mod you're looking at: http://www.splawnguitars.com/images/Spec_Sheet_SC_Style1.pdf

Note that the heel dimension on the Charvel neck is noted to be 2 1/4" which would leave you re-routing the neck pocket to widen it enough for the Warmoth neck. I'm assuming that the neck pocket on the Charvel body would be routed to match the neck heel, of course.

2. I see that you've got 24 frets as an option on the neck. Be aware that on Warmoth necks the 23rd and 24th frets are on an extension that requires the neck pickup to be repositioned South (toward the bridge). I also see on the So Cal spec sheet that the neck that comes with it is a 22 fret neck. I think that you won't be able to mate the two together since the fretboard overhang will wind up clashing with the neck pickup. I've not measured either of them so YMMV, but I suspect that without the neck pickup reposition, you'll have problems.

Overall, the neck looks like it'll be killer though. I like the maple with black accents on that body. With black hardware, that'll be a killer looking guitar.

And this is why I came here first. I'll run your message by the set up guy and reconsider. Thanks.

Still welcome all other observations!

If you're going for a Floyd build, change the radius to 12". A Floyd Rose can be setup 10" with shims 12" no shims, Warmoth has a video on that.
As stated above that body is NOT comparable with a Warmoth neck, but this one would work.

With a Strat body I'd go with 22 frets or order a Soloist Body from Warmoth for 24 frets, but remember to check 24 fret pickup reposition.

I'm not a luthier but I would consider ordered the neck without the 4 mounting holes predrilled. That way if you have to either open the neck pocket or sand down the neck heel you have the option to drill your own neck holes if the predrilled holes don't match up exactly and need to be filled in order to drill new holes. I'm assuming you have the ability to drill the neck holes when you are ready.

That won't help the necks of a Charvel are of a different dimension to Fender specs.

The simple solution is buy parts that are compatible.
