I'm looking for a pickguard sheet for my tele. I can't seem to find any black/white/black/white pickguard sheets. I can find 5 ply, 3 ply, but no 4 ply. I know it's used on some Gibsons.

From what I can gather, old Gibson pickguards are actually 5-ply.  It's just that the bevelling is not done below the 4th white layer.

The place Dangerous pointed out - Pickguard Heaven at http://pickguards.us/materialoptions.htm - does have some 4 ply w/b/w/b. Their stock number is 110. It's the opposite of what you asked for, but that's relative. Turn the sheet over, and it'll be b/w/b/w. I'd email them and ask if the finish is the same on both sides before I ordered it, though. Sometimes the back side isn't polished.

Max, I checked my Kalamazoo ES335 and indeed they used a 5-ply B/W/B/W/B pickguard with the last layer unbevelled.  Pardon the picture quality which was taken using my phone but it did show the underside as black.

Thanks guys. My cnc guy had no machine time yesterday, but I did ask him if he could raise the bevel, so the last layer is hidden. He said "no problem"
