To all my fellow Great White Northerners, let us all celebrate 144 years of being Canada!!

And to our "older" friend down south, I know your birthday is coming up soon .... send you down a couple of cases of cold Canadian beer?  I'm sure there'll be a few left over from today's party  :glasses9:

Dear ol' dad used to say: "As long as I can have Canadian beer and American cigarettes, I shall die a happy man."

Unfortunately, it would seem the American cigarettes were not his friend. Not sure if he died happy, but at least he didn't live long enough to get all decrepit. Being the eldest, it's up to me to prove it was neither of those things. I got 3 years left to beat his record.

Thanks. Me, too. But, I'm not very interested in getting decrepit, either. They say barring all unforseen circumstances, cigarettes will take 10 years off your life. Fortunately, they're the worst years <grin>
