not that i have much reason to doubt this guy, but I always find it suspicious when an official looking article doesn't cite any sources for their data. for jerry's sake, wikipedia has stricter requirements than this website (filled with affiliate links i might add) i've never heard of lol
trust and credibility are important
when i was 24 i went in for a checkup and the doc told me I needed more regular exercise. i said i mow the lawn and I wheed whack around the lawn and it's fine (i was cohabitation with someone who owned a house at the time), but he said i needed to do more. he asked if I had a car and I said yeah thats how I drove here, and he told me to come to a certain address on saturday. When I showed up on saturday it was a big house and when i knocked on the door the doctor answered. he wasn't wearing his professional outfit with glasses and the white coat, he looked normal with a hawaiian shirt but I knew it was the same guy because of his voice and hair
well he opened up his garage and pointed to the lawn mower and said "u can double up your exercise" so I mowed his lawn. when I went to leave he said "u didn't double up" and handed me the wheed whacker. i went to his house for about 5 years to do his lawn because he kept saying "good job, that's the exercise you need." he died but it wasnt my fault, he had a hard attack after eating some skyline chili (it's like normal chili but they put spaghetti on it). i probably shoulntve trusted him cuz u never see docs doing stuff like that on House or Grey's Anatomy, but i was young and naive and he did have a medical certificate on the wall of his exam room that looked pretty official
i did get in better shape but a better doc probably would've just given me some good pills to make the fat go away
