Have a buyer on another one of my auctions, and once I get paid I can cover the complete cost for the guitar neck for my project but of course having the transaction go smoothly was too much to ask for. Guy sends me money through pay pal which is reversed and sent back due to possible suspicious activity. Said he contacted paypal and cleared things up and would be able to transact in 24 hours. Now I'm on the second day waiting to get paid and waiting to get an email back from the guy, whom I'm pretty sure is going to end up being a flake.

Too bad there isn't a way to guarantee the buyer has the funds before they are allowed to bid.  :doh:

eBay is horrible now. They do everything to protect the buyer and nothing to protect the seller. I recently tried to sell a guitar on ebay. First time the guy refused to pay, second time the guy paid then claimed there was all sorts of stuff wrong with it and sent me various insulting emails etc, despite the fact there were countless photos and a YouTube vid showing it to be pretty much perfect.

The thing is, every time this happens, eBay gets another listing fee. It's a disgusting service and the dodgy buyers are as corrupt as the people who run the site.
