I'm wondering on what type of locking tuner I should buy (for six in line), the grover locking tuners or the sperzel locking tuners. I would like the one with a higher gear ratio and maybe on preference. Thanks!
Schallers are the best IMO. Just make sure you get the right ones.
I've never tried grovers yet, but Sperzels are also excellent, except when you overloosen the tuner buttons, and decrimp them, which i always do, then they arent meant to be decrimped, but they still work.
Thats why i say Schaller. They feel the most solid to me and I think the buttons werent meant to be crimped- that is , you can spin them on and off i think.
