Gotoh 510 Bridge on a Melody Maker?

Does anyone know if a Gotoh 510 bridge will fit on a vintage Melody Maker? The stud spacing looks right, I think the next best option would be a Wilkinson or Wilkinson/Gotoh. I really don't want a big,2 piece unit on there with fine tuners, etc.
Thanks for your input!

The stud spacing is OK, but if you have the original stud inserts in there I don't think the 510 stud posts will fit, and if you pull the old ones you'll wind up having to dowel/redrill. Simplest solution is the Leo Quan Bad Ass bridge as seen in my '64 below, pieces all fit into original inserts, and it;s a decent bridge:

Hey, nice axe Jack!  Is that a custom pickguard?  What are the pickups?

Yeah, found a steal on eBay for that '64; custom pickguard, that's a Rio Grande Dirty Harry SC at the neck and a Rio Grande BBQ HB in bridge, thing screams for days....
