Gecko (narrow) Fretless Mahogany/Flame Koa - Last bits all done. :)

Maybe this helps:

Its been a long time, but I've finally finished the last couple of bits.

I've installed the sliding switch in the control plate cover, giving me easy access to parallel/series/single switching. Thanks to SustainerPlayer for helping with wiring.

I've also oiled the truss rod cover and it really finishes it off nicely.

Nice work. Looks good. I think I might be concerned about inadvertently moving that switch while playing, though.

If that was the case, it would be easy to sand the lever down (and maybe cut a notch) to avoid the problem.

Great work Dolando, is really is a handsome bass.

Thanks. Yea, I've tested that and that's why i put it towards the back, It doesn't actually get in the way there. Well, unless i start doing some crazy rock poses.  :party07:

I've also put some washers to stop it sticking out quite so much. I thought about cutting it back, but has a nice curved grippy edge, so wanted to keep that. :)

Love the wooden covers  :icon_thumright:
What did you use to cut them?

Thanks. :)

I just used a Stanley Fatmax coping saw and my Dremel with the sanding bit clamped to the desk to get the final shape.
