Why? A humbucker in the bridge position on a Strat isn't necessarily a Bad Thing. Where it really doesn't make sense is if it's in the neck position.

I love humbuckers... but I think HSS looks bad... specially because I like pickups mounted directly to the woods and this way you can do HSH that way, you'll need mounting rings...

I've often wondered if H-S-S would be right for me, but I just can't stand the aesthetic. it just doesn't work at all for me
