The dilemma of a simple body though is:
  - I'd really want Goblin Flake again but with an ultra light body (~3.5lbs). I can wait endlessly for one to show up, or custom order one for $450

  - But for that price you can get something like this:

I have a Fretlight guitar with a similar top. That, Lollar pickups, etc. Very nice well-appointed limited edition you can't get anymore. Worst frets you ever played, though. Feels like they leveled them with a mill basterd file. Most would have returned it, but being the fret monster I am, I figured I'd just replace them with some big ol' SS wire. #193 on the "to do" list  :laughing7:

That's a pretty cool combination of figuring!
I'm kind of glad I'm not the photographer or sales person handling these bodies day after day, imagine how bad GAS must be for them.

I’ve been bad again...I sold two and could not say no to this. Birdseye maple on maple carved top Tele. I have a flame maple topped swamp ash version that should arrive this week with three necks.
