The heel shape of Strat® necks is rounded at the end, Teles® are squared. Strat® necks will fit Tele® bodies but show a gap at the corners. Tele® necks may not intonate on a Strat® body without neck pocket modification.

Anyone know if W would be able to do the headstock change for me or if i'd have to get a third party involved? I could probably do a decent job myself copying my current neck, but i don't think i'd take that chance.

also, is that gap in the neck pocket going to affect anything functionally? Like having that gap is going to reduce the transfer of energy therefore = bad?

I don't think this is possible... the belly on he tele head is there is a cut on Strat headstock, IIRC

I know Warmoth has done it before for a $45 upcharge. No functional changes.
