G4 body (don't think I ever posted this)

I've had this for a couple months but I still haven't gotten a neck.  I don't think I ever showed pics of the body... it's swamp ash/quilt maple, and the pickup is a GFS.  The bridge is the Warmoth Hipshot thingy, which seems quite high-quality.

What kind of neck should I get?  I was thinking wenge/wenge...

I'm also shopping for preamps... leaning towards Bartolini NTMB 2.5 A/P ($145 from bestbassgear)

The picture doesn't do it justice... the quilt is really nice and 3-D, and the burst is very smooth.
