Full Contact Hardware.......more unique options.....Cool Stuff!!!

Do we really need a thread for every bridge you find online?

Also, http://www.unofficialwarmoth.com/index.php?topic=10258.0 << Search is your friend.

I thought someone building out there may be interested in some of the different options available....certainly didn't mean to offend anyone.....hmmm....maybe we should only post about...stuff "You" like????

Make a list of acceptable things and I will be sure to censure my post accordingly.........wait......isnt that what the Neo conservative Nazi's tried to do??? :laughing7:

We just recently (like a couple of weeks ago I think) had a long thread about this exact set of bridges, everyone already gave their opinions Superbeast. Being tired of threads about weird bridges isn't exactly a nazi trait as far as I remember.  :help:

All I was saying Superbeast is that 6 of the top 10 threads in the Hardware forum were you posting links to bridges or whatever, and in this particular case we already had one four pages long that could have been found by just searching for the name on the bridge.

I missed those threads.  I always love looking at new gear/hardware.  Thanks Superbeast.

Is it more or less just a rolling saddle on these?  With the T-O-M version, it looks like it is set fairly low with no room for adjustment.  With the Tele one, the strings don't anchor in the body anymore.

Not upset,.... just didn't know it had been talked about...I had just stumbled upon em for the first time and thought they looked killer.....I guess since Maple necks and Mahogany Bodies have been talked about before......we should make sure it dosn't get talked about again......especially if someone already posted in that catagory....

Its an open forum...I hadn't seen any action hardly at all in some of these catagories, and I was a bit excited as Im planning a build...so I appologise if my enthusiasm and excitment for guitar parts was too much for some of you...Theres always forums on needle point and knitting for you more ....ummm...dull...I mean .....lets only talk about ...What??? ...... its Hardware...Geesh! :laughing7:

thanks.  I missed those threads too.

lots of reduntant stuff here...and in every other board on the net.

Don't sweat it, man. Post what you want.

Thanks Guys I appreciate it. I don't frequent any other forums so maybe I use this one too much. Being that Im planning a build, and its been a while since Ive been on here, I have some catching up and memory refreshing to do, so I appologise for all the question and maybe just a little too much enthusiasm...lol

Im really glad to see the progress of some of the builders that were also on here 3years ago when I used to frequent the site....its awesome to see and it feels good to be able to participate again as well. :headbang:

it's good to have you back SB!

post what you like, that's what it's here for. If someone doesnt care they shouldnt post a response, right?

about those bridges: I HATE the friggin logo on them..would keep me from using their stuff.

Brian

Yes I agree, the logo is a deal killer for most builders probably, no one wants to be forced into advertisement, kinda takes away from the whole this is "My" Guitar thing.

I do like the looks of their stuff, it looks very High quality, but its defianantly not vintage looking.....and we all know how well change is accepted...lol

I looked on the website, and what I thought about the T-O-M being too low is moot.  The roller is the height adjuster.  Also, this makes for an individually adjustable T-O-M bridge, very handy for a Warmoth compound radius.

I said it in the other thread and I'll voice it here too, I like the logo on it. I think it looks cool. I'm just bummed that I wasn't aware of this bridge on my last build because I definitely would have gone with this.

next time I guess

They can try to make some money in the market like everyone else, but my opinion is they have a solution for a problem that does not exist.

Yes, its funny how I got a little paranoid when I saw this stuff..lol .... I had finally settled on the Callaham Trem/ DeTemple Titanium block as the best of the vintage trems out there, and then I click on a page and this stuff popped up...lol .....

....as "purtty" as it looked I felt I had to second guess myself and consider using Full contact.....but all in all I do think its true, It definantly looks nice, but ultimatly almost the entire catalogue of blues and half of rock has been written with the Fender vintage trem, so I guess the real problem lies with the gear obssesed builder.....lol... :laughing7:

True, and while I don't see myself ordering one of these, one screw per saddle adjusting string height in a level fashion is attractive to me, wasn't really a problem before though.  However the saddle looked like it got progressively sharper as the action was raised, not any sharper than T-O-M I guess.  The Schaller "Hannes" bridge seemed to me to solve problems that didn't exist, as well as create 6 more.

Something to be said for the "simple is better" approach when it comes to things musical.  Keep it simple and it becomes problem free.  Less is more, right?

Well, looking at the Babicz stuff it seems simpler. More parts obviously but a lot easier than what we're used to.

I'm sure the Floyd Rose got the same reception when it was introduced. Just because the music up until now has been made using the trusty Fender trem doesn't mean that a little bit of technology can't upgrade that a little. Just saying....
