I really liked Big Beard, too. He should know that this forum isn't officially linked to Warmoth. It IS the "Unofficial" Warmoth Forum. I won't get into whether or not he deserved to get banned because I really have no idea why it happened in the first place. I will say, though, that a permanent ban seems a little harsh for just about anything except all out attacks on other members. If he got banned for questioning a company that isn't even supposed to be an official endorser of the forum then I think he should be allowed back (if he'd even want to be, doubtful).

I never read his posts. The guy talked about doing illegal drugs on a family forum... all the time. I'm glad he's gone. I also don't believe a word of his "story" except that he has rage issues.

im sure alot of that is not the truth. i have never seen anyone discouraged to post about other products by the mods. actually never mind i have seen the mods suggest that people take issues up with the manufacturers first before flaming the on the forum as warmoth would not appreciate people complaining without talking to the sales reps first.
and his argument that warmoth did something shady by getting an insurance claim doesnt make sense. the claim would be for the price of the first sale not the value of the second neck. so they wind up with the full cost of the custom neck and the customer winds up with the custom neck. it would be great if warmoth would build another neck at the discounted price but not to many places would offer anything other than an alternative at an equivilent cost.

I remember all the drug romanticism and the (rather ironic I thought) anger issues with the inevitable rants as a result. Sometimes he was cool, sometimes he spread really bad vibes. I don't remember any particular brand bashing or discouraging anyone from buying Warmoth's stuff. Regardless of what he might have said in any given thread, giving suggestions on alternative parts sources should absolutely not be a banning offense - even if this is more like the "Unofficial" Warmoth Forum than anything else.

I remember Big Beard. I don't think that he was actually banned - just that the moderators threatened to ban him if he did not behave.
Did like to talk a lot about weed and other mind altering substances. Once posted a pic of his wife naked humping his Warmoth. That kinda put me off the guy.
