Gold is so "Grills & Gangsta".  :laughing7:

I've just never been a fan of gold hardware, some guitars it works on, just not my thing.

Chrome/Nickel works with Blue.  :headbang1:

But this baby is getting black.  :icon_biggrin:

Putting EMG 81/SA pickups in it.

I gotta say I'm really surprised and impressed by the way the Koa looks under the clear coat. The flame is much more alive when changing the viewing angle than flamed maple at times. Almost has a radiance to it I didn't expect to see.

Is that a clear finish or did you have it stained?

Love the raw neck with matching Koa peghead veneer too. Not sure I would have gone with Canary. But, I don't guess you couldn't get the angled head neck done in Pau Ferro. :dontknow:
I also like your peghead design, not necessarily my taste, but original and classy! :icon_thumright:
