My first ever Warmoth body and neck order arrived today. Placed order on October 18, that's just 2-months wait! It's a Mustang hardtail body in vintage white and neck in vintage tint with rosewood fretboard. Looks fantastic! I'm not going to have time to start on assembly until after the new year. Will post photos of the build, several people have expressed interest. I ordered this one because my first guitar was a white '65 Fender Mustang (sold it decades ago, stupid me), feeling nostalgic in my old age!

feeling nostalgic in my old age!
And also with a bit more disposable income as we've gotten older ;)

My instrument collection has grown in inverse proportion to the amount of shows I'm playing over time. When I was younger and was able to play out, I had maybe 2 or 3 instruments and couldn't afford any more. I no longer play anywhere and the arsenal is at over 10 and growing :D

Will be starting the build soon. Have collected most of the hardware needed, just waiting on a few things from StewMac.

Started working on her this morning, got the tuners installed. Wow, that was far more labor intensive than I expected. The buttons are really close to each other on the small Mustang headstock, glad I went with locking. Think I'll call her Jenni after an old girlfriend.

Got the bridge mounted and, the pickguard and control plate screw holes located and drilled. Had to remove a wee bit of material from the neck pocket end of the pickguard to move it toward the neck a little. Otherwise, the screw hole at the bottom of the neck pocket was right on the edge of the neck pickup rout hole. I know... I didn't have any small gage black wire for the bridge ground, so I used what I had.

Hey! Those saddles look pretty sweet! What brand did you go with? Asking as I also am considering upgrading the stock Toronado saddles.

Pickguard wired up, tested, and installed. First time I've done any soldering in years. I used the StewMac shielding paint in the body routs and copper tape on the back of the pickguard (forgot to take a pic before I installed it).
