First post--first build

Hello all!  Since I recently built an all-tube amp, I decided to try my hand at building a guitar.  The body is a showcase piece. I was going to buy a showcase neck as well, but realized the one I wanted had a Telecaster heel, so I ordered an almost identical one so it would fit. I already have the strap buttons installed; just waiting for the rest of the parts to arrive.
