Hello,

I have one question.

I’m very interested in building a custom Telecaster Deluxe. While configuring options on the Warmoth product page,
I noticed that the Gotoh 510 series tremolo cannot be installed on Telecaster Deluxe or Thinline bodies.
Could you explain why this is not possible?

Here are my assumptions:

  1. There may be interference between the Wide Range humbucker and the tremolo sustain block.
  2. It might be due to maintaining Fender’s traditional design (since Fender has historically used only 6-point tremolos or hardtail bridges).

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Regarding your assumptions.

1. No, as the tremolo block is located in the same place as a six screw tremolo on the T Deluxe body. The Gotoh 510 may just be missing as an option on the web page builder.
On the thinline body the 510 is available as an option but not on the 72 thinline only the six screw tremolo.
The Gotoh 510 may just be missing as an option on the web page builder.

In both cases check with Warmoth sales as the option may be available off menu. If not a good alternative tremolo that will fit a six screw tremolo rout is the Vegatrem.

2. Certainly not Warmoth offer many options for bridge routs.

Hmm…
However, Warmoth explicitly states on their website(bridge rout information page) that the 510 bridge is not supported for those bodies.
It doesn’t seem like an accidental omission.

I guess I should contact Warmoth’s sales email to ask about it.
