Well after my custom bass build last year and a few revamps to existing guitars, I have decided to start my own luthier business because I enjoyed building so much. The work here is completely from scratch and done all be hand by myself at my house. This guitar was designed for one of my friends who wanted a custom guitar and was willing to be the first customer of my business. Let me know what y'all think!

Is this one of those invisible guitars or am I missing something :icon_scratch:

That was the start of the neck. It's a neck  thru, curly maple and bubinga.

There's a shaving from the neck. The wood glue is crazy strong

I don't have a machine planer, so I improvised with a router. It turned out decently.

Brilliant work, man. I find it astounding that people can build a guitar by hand, I was proud when I installed some strap-locks. My hat goes off to you. :rock-on:

Next I got my body sides ready for gluing. I am doing a semi hollow for the guy so I just tacked the walnut top onto the maple with a bit of superglue before cutting out my shape. All I had to do to separate the top from the core was insert a wedge and apply a small bit of force. I had to do a bit more planing on the body sides because they weren't completely flat, or flat enough to use for a gluing surface anyway. Once I got the surface flat enough I set it up and now have it gluing overnight. I will do the other side tomorrow.
