First build just a couple days away!!!

After playing guitar for 16 years I'm finally getting around to doing a Warmoth build. I plan on learning alot doing this build. I have a good skill set going into it having customized and rewiring my Strat a bunch of times over the last 15 years I've had it. It's the body and fret work that will be new to me.

I've always had the need and want for a Tele to be my 4th guitar. So now is my opportunity. I'm going traditional Swamp Ash body w/ tummy cut. Roasted maple neck (black abalone dots) Tort pickguard. I'm going Dimarzio Twang King neck and True Velvet bridge. I'm going  to attempt my own Tobacco burst dye job. Depending on how the burst comes out will dictate the ratio of black to gold hardware. I already ordered the neck pup in gold and the Gotoh bridge in gold. I am way too excited. I'm more excited about spending countless hours working on it than anything right now. This would have been a terrible endeavor for me to do earlier in life when I didn't have patience, but now I simply dream about masking everything off and triple checking it all just to drill a pilot hole.... I'll post pics as this unfolds.

You've clearly done your planning - take your time with the build process. There's many subtle things about the build that will occur to you at that pace. Welcome!
