First Bass

Shocking that it took this long, but I finally got to first bass! Swamp ash G4, Duncan 'Bassline' pickups...

Well then Ape, you've really outdone yourself this time. The grain pattern looks absolutely amazing with the colour in it. I can imagine myself playing this bass.  :bass:

It's a 35'' scale...and it's going to a good friend in Florida-the first guy with whom I shared a stage in Fl. two years ago. His main gig these days is in a mostly country band, and I've never seen him without cowboy boots and a straw cowboy hat on, so I thought the western flavor of the bass would suit him well...I'll be seein' him down there next week, hope he digs it! Thanks for the kind words!!
