Finally pulled the trigger on a J-Bass

After months of pondering.... ash body with a clear finish, black pickguard.  Pretty much your basic Jazz - but with a Badass III string thru to go with the Fender Deluxe String Thru Bridge that they used 10 or 15 years ago.

And the neck? What is going on this matter?

Have not decided yet.
I'm split between maple/maple, maple/rosewood, or goncalo/goncalo.
My old JB had maple with rosewood, and so that choice would be a duplicate of my old JB... which I really liked.
Always lusted for a maple neck bass when I was in the days of my youth...

And really like the tone and feel of goncalo on a guitar...

Hard to settle this decision.
At any rate - I've got a few weeks before I order the neck, so I can kick the choices around a bit, see what seems best.
