Well eventually after many changes in body I decided on this beauty...

In my opinion its a fantastic finish and only weighs 2lbs, 14oz (which is good for me as I'm pretty small and that way it won't dig into my shoulder as much as the tele does)

Now that I've decided on the body I need to decide what neck, what pickguard etc. I have a rough idea what I want for pups but it isn't yet set in stone so could be changed.

For the neck I was looking for a dark wood...Something like this....

and for the pickguard they show three different types....My favourite is the black pickguard but I'll put all three up so I can get some opinions of you guys (since you're the experts  :icon_tongue:)

As I just said opinions would be great  :toothy11:

I can't wait to order her in a couple days!!  :toothy10:

i love a black pickguard on pretty much anything, but i agree with dmraco that a black pearl would look pretty awesome too. to be honest, with a body like that one you can't make too bad of a choice!

This one. Black pearl would compete with the body instead of enhancing it.

The vintage pearl usually goes great with the clear mask binding...
However, either the black or black pearl would look smashing as well.
What ever you do, make yourself happy...
I love black guitars and this will be a winner :hello2: :blob7: :hello2:

I vote for white pearl.

Doesn't seem like anyone is talking necks with you though. Personally, with the body being that dark I think I'd go with a maple fingerboard. But that's just me.

+1 to black pearl, but white pearl will look good also.  What about solid gloss black insted of BWB?  Or black oxide anodized aluminium?

Personally I'd always use a plain pickguard with a flamed body; I think the pattern of a pearl guard clashes with the flame pattern and detracts from its appearance.

I might go with the black pickguard, ebony fingerboard and black hardware. But then I like black.
