fernandez sustainer installed by anyone ?

has anyone installed this before? I'm looking for tips and suggestions . a few people won't touch it . Parson's will do it , but I would like to try diy . it looks intimidating and the instructions look incomplete and in chinese ! ? :icon_scratch:

So maybe a nice opportunity to ask a stoopid question on sustainers..
While the sustainer pickups are always installed in the neck position, can you also use the sustainer effect while playing the bridge pickup?

That is precisely what you do, Marko.  The sustainer circuitry samples the bridge pickup output and makes the sustainer pulse a magnetic field to keep the string moving at that frequency, or the harmonic overtone selected.  The output going to the amp is from the bridge pickup.  That said, when the sustainer is off, it can function as an active neck pickup.  I haven't installed/used mine yet, but this is what it says in the manual.
